Prophet of Peace
Cassius Coolidge also was the illustrator for several book. I was able to obtain a copy of Prophet of Peace through inter-library loan from the nice librarians at my school. You can see that each picture is signed "Kash" as he was known to sign his works. It was written by his first cousin, Asenath Coolidge, and published in 1907. I am not much of a bookworm so I haven't read the book. Also, back in those days they didn't have nice summaries on the back to tell you what the book was about. I have, however, provided you with a collection of the illustrations done by Cassius Coolidge for your viewing pleasure. No poker dogs in these, but they are still pretty nice.

This book was published in 1907. As far as I know (and I have been known to be wrong), this means the book is in public domain. That means people are basically free to do what they want with it (ie scan the pictures and post them on a personal website).
